Mark L. Tracy, PhD.

I have been writing code and building gizmos since the early 1970's, either for purposes of education, entertainment or employment. In addition to the software hosted here, I have been known to do analog circuit design, and miniature machining. Until now, none of it has been for public use under my own name. Currently I work for Dionex Corp. where I develop HPLC columns and applications.

 

Special Engineering

The name comes from a few years ago when I needed a custom device for a project at work. A manager asked me where I would obtain it, and I replied “Mark Tracy Special Engineering.” He sighed and told me to document it. So I built it.

The name now refers to all my irregular design projects.
